Adult Groups
Fellowship Groups
These are a great way to explore the Christian faith further and make new friends at the same time. Instead of merely sitting and listening, these groups are about interaction, discussion and deepening friendships.
Currently we have groups meeting on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday evenings, mostly in people’s homes in the South Croydon area.
All of them welcome new members, so if you’d like to sample a group, contact
David Taylor and he’ll point you to one near you.
Tuesday Chat
A group for women of all ages, with or without children. We meet weekly during term time from 10.00am to 11.30am in the church lounge for Bible study and prayer and the occasional social.
For details contact Gill Taylor on 020 8686 1429.
Senior Fellowship
This is an opportunity for those older in years to enjoy each other’s company and to listen to a Bible-based talk. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month and offer transport where we can.
For details contact Margaret Yerworth on 020 8651 0126.
Prayer Groups
Jesus said "I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it" (John 14, 13-14).
We now have a monthly prayer meeting called 90 Minutes of Prayer at 8 pm on the second Tuesday of the month. Our vision is to have at least 50 people praying together each time. Anyone is welcome to join us at the church for this.
We also have three prayer chains - two by phone and one by email for urgent needs. Please pass your prayer requests to Margaret Yerworth on 020 8651 0126 or David Taylor on 020 8686 0041.
The Women’s Prayer Meeting is on Mondays at 10.30 am, praying for the sick, the church and personal needs.
Many of our projects and activities have their own prayer support network. For example, each Crohamkidz group has its own prayer partners. Points for prayer are listed in the Croham Messenger and on the weekly notice sheet so that we can pray for one another during the week.
Finally we have a few prayer triplets: groups of three people who meet when they can to pray, remembering Jesus’ promise that when two or three people meet in his name to pray, he is there with them. Contact David Taylor if this captures your interest.
