Our extended Christian family

Mark and Jenny met at All Nations Christian College and have a heart for mission.

In June 2009 Mark started work with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF).

From September 2009 they are based in Coshocton, Ohio, where Mark will train as an aircraft maintenance engineer for about 3 years. They will then serve at least 8 years with MAF somewhere else in the world.

Based in Croydon with his wife and three children, Steve works as an evangelist with Dry Bones Trust. He was the driving force behind the ‘Love Croydon’ programme.

Steve’s work does not end in Croydon. He wants to see as many people as possible come to know Jesus for themselves and regularly travels to Africa and elsewhere working in partnership with local churches.

Tom and Shona used to live in Croydon where Tom was a teacher. They now live with their son Alasdair in Bradford where they are joint pastors of Bethel Baptist Church.

Bethel is a small Church on the edge of Bradford with a diverse social mix. A lot of new people have begun to attend the Church since Tom and Shona arrived, some of whom are young Mums. Shona assists with Youth work in the Church amongst other things.

Paul lives in Oxford.

He spends a lot of time travelling all over the world visiting projects to train leaders working with young people. He has a particular concern for children who have lived in war zones.

In this country he works with the agencies Urban Saints and Viva Network as well as with young people at St Clements Church, Oxford. He also works with a Colombian charity called In Ministry to Children.

Diane lives here in Croydon with her husband Gareth and has two grown–up sons who sometimes live here too!

Having taught in a local secondary school for many years, Diane is currently a student at Spurgeon’s College in training for the Baptist Ministry. She was recently awarded the degree of Master of Theology.
